I was drawn to Beachbody Coaching because of the amazing online support & accountability I experienced personally as a customer doing the programs over the years. 


When I  became a coach, my coach invited me to join her Coach Mentorship program with her. 


I am convinced I have made the right decision because coaching has brought nothing but an amazing community of positive people who build each other up & new found  passion into my life! 
It has given me the more personal accountability in my own journey, the ability to help others, & has brought more financial freedom!!

Quinoa Salad (Fix Approved!)




I love quinoa! It's so healthy yet it's got this naturally sweet taste...and it's gluten free!

It's a great base for any dish. Tonight I was inspired by one of Autumn Calabrese's recipes in her new FIXATE cookbook. I didn't have all of the peppers and herbs, but I threw together this healthy meal using what I had and it turned out great!

Ingredients:

-Quinoa (I just made the whole bag for the week)
- Plum tomatoes crushed - I didn't have fresh but I'd recommend that!
-Black beans
-Chickpeas
-Ground turkey meat with a (little) balsamic vinaigrette drizzle 
-Avocado - because I can't get enough!
-can add seasoning, pepper, herbs to taste.

Direction:

-Boil the quinoa
-Brown the turkey meat and add in some olive oil or balsamic if you please
-add everything together....it's that simple! 

That's my kinda cooking for ya! A healthy meal that's filling and that you can make in BULK for the whole week!

My 21 Day Fix Meal Plan!



I absolutely LOVE the 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme workout programs...but when I first started, I have to admit....the meal plan intimidated me!!!

Well let me tell you...It's very SIMPLE and I'm here to help break it down for you!

Previously, I was someone who practiced the 80/20 rule. Meaning, 80% of the time I ate very clean, and 20% of the time, I didn't worry so much. 

Usually during the week I would eat very clean (mostly grilled chicken in a salad, etc.) and then not so much on the weekend. I was however, previously very was bad about tracking my calories and I hate trying to keep track of all the numbers! 

The 21 Day Fix Meal Plan has helped me stay on track and makes clean eating EASY!

What makes the 21 Day Fix meal plan so amazing is that there is no counting calories (yay)!!! 

Instead, you determine your personal calorie bracket (mine is the 1,200-1,499 bracket) and from there you get an allotted number of Colored Boxes...for example, In my bracket, I get 3 Green containers (veggies) per day. 

They are perfectly portioned out so that you're not over eating or under eating. 

If it fits....you get to eat it! HOW EASY IS THAT!?!

What makes this program #1 is that it makes clean eating super SIMPLE and combines this meal plan with 3 weeks of results-proven workouts!

How to Stay Healthy & Fit on Vacation!!



My husband, Ralph, and I are on our Summer vacation this week! We're heading out to Southern Californa but that doesn't mean I let all my hard work go to waste! 

Eating well is what fuels me and gives me the energy to live my life to the fullest! 

Here are my tips for staying healthy and fit while on vacation:

1. Eat locally - I'm excited to find fresh, healthy, and LOCAL food out in southern California :)

2. Get active - Plan some fun tours or sight seeing that requires you to walk or hike to see! I'm excited to hike up some trails in cali and walk along the beaches of Laguna!

3. Drink a lot of H20 - this will not only help hydrate ya, it will help warn off cravings, and keep your energy up.

4. Try not to over indulge - plan a couple nights of partying but try to balance it out with some good R&R also! - this hasn't always been easy for me as I like to go all day and night when I travel but It's important to refresh and refuel!

5. Bring along a resistance band - ok, maybe you think I'm crazy but just a few mins of fitness can set you mood and day off to a great start. Not to mention it gives you energy, and you'll feel more confident in that bikini :)

*Bonus Tip*  - Pack snacks! You can bet I'm brining along some healthy granola bars and my Shakeology packets - Getting caught without a snack can leave you starving which usually leads to over indulgence and poor food choices!
