Clean Eating

Clean Eating Grocery List:

Protein:

-Boneless, skinless chicken
-Turkey breast
-Lean cuts of steak
-Fish (fresh water or wild caught is best)- tilapia, salmon, trout,        cod, tuna
-Turkey breast
-Egg whites
-Protein powders - Hemp, Rice, Pea, Whey, Shakeology (any high quality protein powder)

-Lean pork
-Lean ground meat -turkey, chicken
-Tempeh
-Tofu, firm
-Greek yogurt can count as protein also!

Veggies:

- Broccoli
-Spinach, cooked or raw leaves
-Kale, cooked or raw leaves (can add to shakes as well for easy way to consume!)
-Asparagus
-Tomatoes
-Carrots
-Cauliflower
-Eggplants
-Green beans
-Cucumbers
-Mushrooms -regular or portabellos
-Square- Spaghetti squash is one of my fav. pasta dupes during fall!
-Celery
-Onions, chopped
-Beets
-Peppers - green, yellow, or red!

Healthy Fats (very important!):

-Almond butter (Organic)
-All natural peanut butter (Organic)
-Avocado
-Coconut Oil
-Macadamia nut oil
-Extra virgin olive oil
-Grape seed oil
-Raw Nuts: -Almonds (low salt, ween yourself to raw!), Cashews, Walnuts, Pecans
-Kerry Gold grassfed butter
-Cheese, grassfed organic 
-Hummus
-Shredded Mozzarella (low-moisture)
-Coconut milk, canned

Carbs:

-Oatmeal, steel-cut
-Corn on the cob
-Lentils
-Refried beans, nonfat
- Brown rice
-Wild rice
-Quinoa, cooked
-Sweet potato
-Beans (kidney, black, garbanzo, lima, etc - low sodium when canned!)
-Edamame
-Potato - mashed or baked without too much added butter, etc!

-Whole wheat pasta
-Non GMO Organic corn chips/popcorn for snacks.

-Apples

-Sales or Pico de gallo

Spices/Flavorings:

-Mrs. Dash makes a variety of non-sodium spices to add to any protein dish! 
-Most spices and herbs are great for adding more flavor to your meals
-Garlic is especially good for your immune system and great tasting!
-Mustard
-Vinegar
-Ginger
-Hot Sauces
-PURE flavor extracts - peppermint, vanilla, almond
-Fresh Lemon & Lime juices!
